“Vacation as we like to do it ourselves.” – That was our thought when, at the end of 2018, the idea first arose to create a vacation apartment complex from our listed farmhouse in Spessart, Hesse. After several years, countless discarded and newly found ideas, thousands of hours of work, perceived millions of decisions and many beautiful moments together, we would now like to welcome you as guests in one of our six apartments. The space For the 87 sqm attic apartment of the historic farmhouse, the old attic of the building has been converted into a spacious living room with great effort. Witnesses to the old stock are fillet beams and half-timbered, which have been largely preserved and uncovered. The apartment can accommodate up to six people in an open and an enclosed bedroom (a box spring double bed 180x200cm and two single beds 80x200cm) as well as in the form of a box spring sofa bed in the living area. The open-plan living area with its dormers and gables offers a large dining table, a large, fully equipped kitchen, a flat-screen TV and a spacious living and living area. In the separate bathroom, an old apartment door was converted into a wall mirror. A small balcony allows you to enjoy the setting evening sun. Attention, the stairs to the attic are a little steeper than conventional stairs. Guest access In addition to plenty of space and meadows, the outdoor area of the farmhouse now offers a number of seating options for our guests – both for socializing and for seclusion and silence. A ping-pong table and a trampoline are available for children and the young at heart. Due to the location at the end of a cul-de-sac, the children can play in the yard without road traffic. A lockable bicycle cellar with a small workshop offers the opportunity to store your bicycles. Of course, the opportunity for barbecuing and a fire pit for a campfire feeling should not be missed. Other things to note Since there is nothing more beautiful for ourselves than to end a long day in nature with a relaxing sauna, it was clear to us relatively quickly: our waysLager also needs this! The most beautiful place for this was quickly found: the big barn. And so you can now enjoy one or more sauna sessions with temperatures according to your preferences under historical beams and then relax in the relaxation room, on the open gallery, on the balcony or overlooking the wide meadows with a freshly brewed tea. The sauna room can accommodate eight people spaciously. Please note that the sauna is not included in the apartment price.
