Welcome to our home in the orchards of Slinde. A great little house that is the perfect base for your family's next adventure. A home where we take pride in really creating a small home for you to plan out a trip and come home to a safe cosy base with a staggering view over the majestic Sognefjord. If you come on your own, then our place will provide you with time for focus. Focus on life, on your next book or paper, focus on the heart. The space We have 2 houses on our property and you will be living in the northern house highest on our land 47MOH. Inside the house there is a moderate living-room with the kitchen and dining table being part of it. The kitchen has really good facilities for all you should need for proper cooking. Moccamaster Coffee machine, a french-press and a stove espresso maker (Bialetti). There is a good oven, microwave and dishwasher. The 2 bedrooms are similar in size. One with a kingsize 2 person bed and the other room with two beds (3 if you come as a family of 5). During winter the nearby ski centers are not more than 15-25minutes away and there are in total 3 and all have both cross country skiing and Alpin, The mountains in Sogn are known for good Randone skiing aswell . Should you find yourself here during summer then there are many hikes in the area. The Majestic Sognefjord hold many adventures and kayaks can be rented in Leikanger or Sogndal. If you want to gather your thoughts and write your best accomplishment yet, then our house will provide good focus. Checkin efter 14:00, let us know if you will arrive after 18:00 Guest access You have access to all of the house you will be renting and the garden. Other things to note When you go from your car there are two ways up. one is up the main slope going almost directly north, up to your house. the other route is going further east and passing the southern and eastern face of our house. This last route is better for you if you should suffer from leg injury or weak musculature, packed a TOO heavy suitcase. Most people don't react to it. but there will be a select few who can't make it up the North slope and maybe not even the south, eastern passing.
