The Other Red Hut

Unique self built studio cabin in a peaceful setting only a stones throw away from the Nature Reserve - replicating the well known Red Hut in Rye Harbour. PLEASE NOTE : The wc/shower room is a separate building adjacent to the main hut. The sink area is also outside the hut. There’s a patio area which looks towards the Martello tower (The enchantress) The space The Other Red Hut is a self built studio cabin with SEPARATE built shower hut with facilities situated next to the main hut. The hut itself includes a double bed with storage, sofa, electric fire and fold out table. There is also a kettle, microwave, toaster and mini fridge with tea bags, coffee and milk ready for your arrival. PLEASE NOTE The shower room/WC is a SEPARATE HUT adjacent to the cabin and towels are provided for your stay. To the front of the cabin is a large garden with a patio area. There are 2 chairs and a table on the patio. To the bottom of the garden is a set of garden furniture also for your use. The garden is gated for your sole use and is perfect for dogs as it’s secure. There is an outdoor sink with hot and cold water should you require it. Guest access While we have tried to ensure the cabin is completely independent from the house - you are in the extended garden of our home, so we encourage you to use the outside patio and garden infront of the cabin, which will be private to you during your stay. We would ask if you could only use the garden from the car park to the cabin as a pathway. Please note - the car park is free (there’s a donation post at the entrance) it is clipped shut at night but never locked so you can come and go as you please. Other things to note Free parking is available in the Rye Harbour car park. You'll see 'The Other Red Hut' straight ahead as you enter, along the same fence to the far right hand side is a pedestrian gate (you'll see a sign on the fence), go through the gate and left towards the hut. Keys will be left in the doors ready for your arrival. The nature reserve is popular so the car park does get busy at times but it is closed at night (to the public) the gates are closed but not locked so you can come and go as you please being mindful of closing them behind you. Please note, wheelchair access is not available. We do have a CCTV camera covering the car park and garden closest to our house but this does not invade on 'The Other Red Hut' in any way.
