Night skies are filled with twinkling stars. 1 hour from Halifax, 1.5 hours from Peggy’s Cove, and just 20 minutes from Truro (fabulous Saturday Farmers’ Market) The space Your 500 sq. ft. private, newly renovated bedroom/living room gives you plenty of room to kick back after a day of sightseeing. WiFi. A 42 inch Roku TV with Netflix in the bedroom and a fridge, microwave and toaster in a small kitchette that leads to your private bathroom. Air conditioned/heated. Dedicated work space. Supremely comfortable beds with high quality bedding is sure to provide a wonderful sleep. Guest access All of Nova Scotia is part of unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Guests are encouraged to explore the 23 acres surrounding the house including perennial gardens and several walking trails leading through fields and woods to the Shubenacadie River. Be sure to stop at the Look Out for a fabulous view of the river - a great photo op! Other things to note There are 12 carpeted steps to the second floor suite and 4 steps at the outdoor entrance. We can provide a crib and a playpen. Smoking is restricted to certain outdoor areas for fire safety. I have Remy, a 3 year old Golden Retriever and Murphy, an indoor cat.
