An elegant retreat combining comfort and fresh mountain air. The space A DUPLEX OPEN TO NATURE Le Cocon is a 90 m² duplex set within a beautifully restored traditional Jura stone farmhouse. Its warm interior combines wood, natural materials and carefully selected furnishings to create a true cocooning atmosphere. On the first level, the spacious living area includes the lounge, dining room and fully equipped open-plan kitchen. A spectacular 5-metre-wide picture window opens onto the landscapes of the Haut-Jura, creating the wonderful feeling of being in a treehouse surrounded by nature. The lounge features a fireplace, a large bookcase and a TV – the perfect place to relax together after a day in the mountains. The living area opens directly onto a very large private terrace, furnished so you can make the most of the exceptional, unobstructed views over the surrounding countryside. Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom beneath the exposed roof structure. The bathroom features both a shower and a bathtub beneath a large skylight, allowing you to relax in the bath while looking up at the sky. The property also has two toilets, including a separate WC on the living-room level. Travelling with a baby? Baby equipment is available free of charge upon request, including a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and potty. Le Cocon combines the character of an old stone farmhouse, the comfort of a contemporary renovation and a constant connection with the surrounding nature. Guest access Le Cocon is located at the end of a 400-metre private road, in a peaceful and unspoilt natural setting. Yet the centre of Prémanon is only 800 metres away, with shops, restaurants and local amenities within walking distance. In winter, you are right in the heart of the Les Rousses ski area: • downhill ski slopes around 5 minutes away by car; • cross-country ski trails accessible from the village; • ski-bus stop less than 500 metres away, providing access to the various ski areas. In the warmer months, hiking and mountain-biking trails can be accessed directly from the property, so there is no need to take the car. A shared secure storage room is available for skis, bikes and outdoor equipment. It also includes a ski-waxing bench, as well as complimentary firewood for the fireplace. Enjoy the peace of being surrounded by nature, while staying close to all the activities and amenities of the Haut-Jura. Other things to note GOOD TO KNOW Le Cocon is set within a beautifully restored traditional Jura stone farmhouse. The building is home to two independent holiday rentals as well as our own home. Each accommodation has its own private entrance and private outdoor space, allowing everyone to enjoy their stay in complete privacy. For your comfort, bed linen and towels are provided, beds are made before your arrival, and end-of-stay cleaning is included. Le Cocon also has its own washing machine and Wi-Fi. We live on site while always respecting our guests’ privacy and peace. Being nearby also means that we can easily be available should you need any assistance during your stay.
