Peacefully situated in a delightful rural location. This charming newly built cottage offers supremely comfortable and new stylish furnishings and spacious accommodation, overlooking the beautiful Shropshire countryside, which includes the ‘Stretton Hills’ and glorious farmland. Beautiful country walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep, with the public footpath passing through the garden and taking you with ease to a local village pub. The cottage is a beautiful location for relaxing. The space The Ground floor offers a bright open plan living area: - Living room - Dining area (accommodates 6) - Fully equipped kitchen with integrated oven, hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher - Wooden floors to ground floor. - Entertainment consists of a new smart TV and a collection of board games and children’s toys. - WIFI is available throughout the property. First floor: - Family room with new zip & link Super-king 6ft beds (Twin Bed Option on request) - Excellent quality double sofa bed in family room - Spacious 2nd bedroom with zip & link Super-King bed (Twin Bed Option on request) - Views over look Church Stretton Hills and countryside - Newly fitted shower room has a walk-in shower, with toilet and sink - The rooms are light and airy, newly furnished spacious spaces which have USB charging points and ample storage space. Outside: - Shared courtyard with dining table and seating. - Picnic table on a grassed area beside a very pretty brook, - The property is surrounded by Shropshire countryside and wooded area – totally tranquil, a place to kick back and relax. HORSE RIDER OPTIONS: The property also offers stays for horse and rider at an additional fee. Fantastic hacking across the Shropshire hills directly from the cottages. In addition, we have a menage and jumps for those wishing to exercise their horse prior to a local competitions etc. Guest access The courtyard is shared between two properties and overlooks the beautiful gardens. There is a further large grassed area with picnic table that runs alongside the stream and available to all guests. Lots of space for children to run around and paddle in the water. Other things to note We are a rural location and a car is advised as public transport is difficult. We are a 10 mins drive to both Shrewsbury and Church Stretton. This cottage can be rented in conjunction with ‘The Caradoc’ allowing for larger groups to join together for family occasions etc. - Perfect base for those hiking in Church Stretton hills, - Attending a wedding at Netley Hall, Dorrington - Visiting schools within the area i.e.. Concorde College & Shrewsbury School. - Visiting Shrewsbury - Visiting Ludlow - Visiting Ironbridge - Visiting Shropshire Commonly asked questions: EV Charging: Currently there is no facility to charge electric cars at present, but electric charging points are close by. Charging from 3-PIN sockets and extension leads is not permitted. Parking: We only have parking available for two cars per cottage, additional cars can be parked on-site using grass parking upon prior request. TV: The large TV is connected to WiFI and a smart TV, but you would need your own login details to access and watch any programmes on and above terrestrial TV. Bed linen and towels are provided weekly and inclusive within the price and electricity is also free of charge. NOTE: Car charging is not permitted from 3 PIN sockets on-site. Self Catering: Please note that the barn is self-catering so you will need to provide your own food (supermarket deliveries are available should you wish to pre-plan). The barn is strictly non-smoking or vaping inside the cottage, and we are unable to accommodate pets. NB.If you do smoke outside, please bin any cigarette ends and ensure you are away from the buildings, as there is hay close to the bedrooms, so precautions need to be adhered to. We DO NOT accept bookings for parties other than family get togethers. Bookings for Christmas: The Cottage will be dressed for Christmas with a Christmas tree etc, it will all be very cosy and Christmassy.
