The Colette Rose – Parisian 1850s Pied-A-Terre

Visit Port Hope's vibrant downtown and stay in the heart of it all. Inspired by a classic Parisian Pied-a-terre, inside The Colette Rose you will find 12ft ceilings, plaster moulding details, a complete calacatta viola marble shower, chevron wood floors, and vintage carpets. No detail has been overlooked to bring the most authentic Parisian experience to your stay. The space Upon entering the apartment building, many stairs need to be walked to access the top floor, where the unit is located. There are also stairs within the apartment. There is one shared wall on the main floor and some noise transfer between units is to be expected at times. Except to come across other travellers from our neighbouring unit, @thewilfjones in the hallway and possibly on their side of the patio. The patio is one space with a wood slat divider between. We ask for quiet hours after 11pm from The Colette Rose and The Wilf Jones out of respect for fellow travellers. Parking: we are currently on a month by month basis for the parking spot rented from our neighbour. If parking is not available or if you have more than one vehicle, there is a free lot right beside available 24/7! Street parking is also an option for $1 per hour from 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and free otherwise. It is best to park in the parking spot or free lot overnight. Guest access Guests will have full private access to the Colette Rose apartment. The hallways and stairs to the apartment door will be shared with guests in the neighbouring apartment. The fire escape/patio is also shared with the neighbouring apartment with a wood slat divider between. This is accessed by a patio door in the spare bedroom with full black out drapes. Other things to note To keep things smooth and comfortable for everyone, please ensure your reservation reflects the correct number of guests and pets at the time of booking. This helps us prepare enough linens, supplies, and amenities for your group. After 2 guests, there is a fee of $20 per person, per night. Pets are welcome for a fee of $75. For transparency: unregistered guests or pets will result in an additional $75 per night fee, in addition to the standard guest or pet fees. We also ask that all guests review our cancellation prior to booking. We recommend that all guests purchase insurable option so your trip is always protected. You cannot add this at a later date, it must be at the time of booking as per Airbnb.
