ApeBNB: Comfort, Character, VHS!

ApeBNB is a brand new remodel (2023) in a multi-unit 1900 home. The apartment is warm and welcoming, full of art, books, fun, and character. Just a block from the pedestrian tunnel to Lake Erie's Edgewater Beach and in the heart of Gordon Square, its centrally located with loads of great walkable neighborhood restaurants, theaters, parks, and shops. For retroheads, we share a VHS collection of over 500 tapes (with VCR for viewing). We are 2 miles from downtown and 8 miles from the airport. The space The apartment was newly remodeled in 2023, in a historic 1900 home. It is 600 sq. ft. with 1 bedroom, Queen sized poster bed with canopy. We live and work (artist printmaking studio) in the other two units, so when you stay with us your money stays local (and helps me recoup some of my massive renovation costs!). Features and amenities: - Wifi - TV with Apple TV for streaming Netflix, Prime Video, etc. - VCR for viewing the 600+ VHS collection - Full kitchen with brand new appliances, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, dishes, etc. - Washer and Dryer - Outdoor urban garden oasis with small patio set (shared space but you are welcome to enjoy it) - Air conditioning: window unit in bedroom that will keep the apartment cool in the summer - Hair Dryer and basic toiletries provided for use Safety: -Smoke alarm - First aid kit (under bathroom sink) - CO2 monitor - Fire extinguisher (under kitchen sink) - Security cameras (outside premises) Parking: - Free parking spot in driveway available if needed. There is also loads of street parking right next to the house. As in any city, lock your car and don’t leave valuables inside your vehicle when unattended. Accessibility: - The apartment is ground level, but there are two steps to get into the entrance. Guest access House is multi-unit: you have your own 600 sq. ft. apartment with separate entrance. One parking spot in driveway is available for your use. The garden with small patio set is a shared space and you are welcome to enjoy it.
