This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom one level home, has room for 4 comfortably and up to 8 if two pull out couches are utilized for small kiddos. The property sits on a ridge line near the "Signature 6th home", walking distance to golf course from home. Go for hikes right in the community, go to Big Bald peak hike with exclusive access. This modern mountain cabin is tucked in the woods of the Wolf Laurel Resort Community, a gated Golf Course community with all the amenities you want for a fun getaway. Village Club amenities privileges included, Wolf Laurel Country Club privileges optional with weekly access fee. The beauty of the surrounding mountains and the serenity of the area may have you hanging out at the cabin or the Country Club, but the city of Asheville is just 30 minutes down the road, where you can enjoy world class restaurants, quaint local shopping, and lots of music! Visit downtown Asheville, but don't miss West Asheville, Weaverville, and Mars Hill (closest town for groceries and restaurants and a University town). You will love the laid back attitude of the area, the friendly people, and the farm fresh food. Once you visit, you may not want to leave. If you love the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, festivals, and music, then these activities are available almost every weekend all year long. You are welcome to use all amenities at the Wolf Laurel Country Club and within the Village Club area, and you will be provided a guest pass. Village club activities are seasonal, and the Country Club is open May to October. Village Club amenities include access to the seasonal heated pool, tennis courts year, yoga, exercise classes, Tai Chi, water fitness, pot luck socials, community center and outdoor pavilion, kids playground, basketball, pickle ball courts and more. A list of activities, local tips and tricks, will be included with your arrival information. In the summer, there is horseback riding, rafting, zip lining, hiking and many outdoor activities in the region. In the winter, Hatley Pointe Ski Resort slopes are right in the Wolf Laurel Resort community, just a mile or so away from property, plus snow tubing activities for children, dining at Hatley Pointe. It will be cooler in the Summer as compared to Asheville, and it will snow here when it isn't snowing in the Asheville area, so check Wolf Laurel weather! Motorcycles are prohibited in the community for guests, homeowners only. If you plan on riding in or trailering in motorcycles, contact the property manager prior to booking for specific instructions on storage. 4x4/AWD highly recommended in winter months. ONE well behaved dog welcome or ONE service animal free with advanced documentation and approval, one animal max, no combination of pet and service animal. Pet fee and pre-approval applies for the family pet. This home includes optional access to the Wolf Laurel Country Club (WLCC) May- October ($150 weekly access fee), and access to the fitness center year round. WLCC is a private country club with fitness center, full bar and restaurant, Founders Cafe open daily, life at the club is good:)) Only a small minority of homeowners in this community are members of the Country Club/amenities and allow non-owner guests, so don't be fooled by other rental properties, if they are not members you will not get access.
