Fresh, cozy cottage right by the sea.
Description
Relax in this unique and cozy home. Warm welcome to "129". Our guest house is located right by the sea, on a secluded part of our garden. Quiet, harmonious and peaceful. Swimming facilities are available. 2 km to Gränsö nature reserve with nice hiking trails, 3 km to Västervik city center. 1 km to Ekhagen golf course. Suitable for two or max three people. It is nice to dock by boat at our jetty if you want to bring a boat. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we would like them to sleep in their own bed. The space The cabin is small but cozy. A room with a separate bathroom. Perfect for the smaller group that appreciates the proximity to the water and nature. Compact living. Suitable for two adults or two adults with one child. A total of three beds. Will be a little crowded for three grown-ups for a longer period. Heated year-round with underfloor heating and a ground source heat pump. Kitchenette with two stovetops and a small fridge with freezer compartment. Dining area with two chairs, as well as a small stool. Bunk bed with duvets, pillows, and blankets. An armchair that can be converted into a bed. See photos. Sleeping dimensions; 200x85. Bed mattress and duvet and pillows for the bed armchair are under the bed. You primarily bring bed linen, this mainly because many guests prefer it and because the cottage is small. But if you want to borrow sheets, I am grateful if you let me know before, and I will resolve it. Tiled bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Private patio with table and chairs. Two sun loungers with a small table. A simple charcoal grill is also available. Feel free to be in the garden and swim from the jetty. You can borrow the garden furniture that is on the lawn by the lake. Make yourself feel like home. Of course, you can drink the water in the cabin. Municipal water & sewer. The cottage is about 15 sqm inside. Smart TV with internet connection. Think of the TV as just a smart TV where you can log into any app. The TV channels don't work very well. Only SVT sometimes, unfortunately. Free WiFi. Necessary kitchen equipment such as coffee maker, kettle and microwave. Crockery. Tea towels and small towels in the bathroom are available, bath towels I am grateful if you bring. Toilet paper, 2 rolls, and paper towels are available, as well as hand soap, soap, shampoo and conditioner, detergent and cleaning equipment. A hand vacuum. In the kitchen there is oil, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, coffee filters, bit sugar, candles and tea lights. Table fan available for hot days. I always clean carefully between guests. However, I would appreciate it if you could take out the garbage (garbage sorting bins are located upstairs by the driveway; walk between the houses, the yellow one and the green one, and then turn right) and wash the dishes, as well as bring the dishes inside. Dogs are most welcome if they sleep in their own bed, SEK 100 will be added for the dog, this is due to extra cleaning. It's fine to add by boat, and bring a boat. Cushions for the outdoor furniture are on the shelf inside and in the box outside. Why do we call the guest house the 129th? Yes, because my parents (who live in the green house) used to live in Borgholm at Strand Hotell. There is a single room with extra windows facing the sea and it was room 129. So that's why it became the name when we built the boathouse with workshop and guest room in 2008. All money that comes in is reinvested in the properties in the form of maintenance. Directions are available via message before check-in, but are also available in the arrival guide, where there are also pictures of the parking lot and the road to the cabin. The property is close to the water and nature. Expect visits from wildlife and the occasional spider😉. Warm welcome! Guest access Guests have access to our garden and jetty as well as the beach. Free parking on the property. Patio with outdoor furniture. You can find cushions indoors and in the box outside. You are welcome to move the furniture around as you wish. Other things to note 2 km to Gränsö Nature Reserve with nice hiking trails by the sea with the horizon in sight. Don't miss a coffee at Gränsö Castle or a visit to the spa. 3 km to Västervik center, and 1 km to Ekhagen Golf Course. About 45 minutes by car to ALV, Astrid Lindgren's World.
