-Where time stands still- The cabin is beautiful in its simplicity. Here you can sit, hour after hour, and look out over the lake. There is terrain for berries, mushrooms and fishing. Great hikes - summer and winter. The Bergenskongevei, Øyangsrunden and ski slopes right by the door. The authentic: timber walls, slanted floors and charm! Even the outhouse has charm! It comes with a canoe for free use on Øyangen. Road all the way up. There is no running water inside. The cabin has a solar power system (12 V), gas stove and gas refrigerator. The space - A Spartan and old log cabin - The cabin has two separate bedrooms: 1. Double bed 2. Two single beds Bed linen can be rented for NOK 150/person. This has to be agreed upon in beforehand. There is an open living room and kitchen solution - with kitchenette. The kitchen is well equipped: fridge and stove that is gas powered, pots, cups and tubs, cutlery, coffee pot, wine glasses, beer glasses, plates, dishes, etc. The cabin has its own small "bathroom" with a sink, and 10 m from the cabin you will find the outdoor toilet and the woodshed. There is parking inside on the private plot. Drinking water must be brought. This can be collected at own water stations (e.g. kiwi Aurdal), or brought from home. Washing water is collected in a common well during the summer months, and in winter we melt snow. Heating is done with wood. The cabin is cold in winter, so it is of course recommended to bring good warm clothes and warm slippers. The area is small and the wood stove heats well - nevertheless, it is possible that you have to put in the oven at night in the winter. There is a solar power system in the cabin. This serves some light points. Otherwise you can use candles. We have a small boathouse, with a canoe. This is at your disposal if you wish. Guest access Guests have the entire place at their disposal. Other things to note Guests must bring their own towels and bed linen. Bed linen can be rented for NOK 150/person - this must be agreed upon in advance. Guests must bring their own garbage to the cabin renovation, and clean up after themselves. If you have rented bed linen, this is to be removed from the beds and collected before departure.
