House in a quiet and sunny location within the old town of Murten, four-storey and completely wheelchair accessible. The front of the house provides a view of the entire Rathausgasse with a view of the castle, the rear facade - part of the historical ring wall - allows a view of the lake. The floors are connected by a wide staircase with a stair lift. In front of the spacious entrance area, an outside niche offers space for a garden table with chairs. Furniture and equipment are of high quality. The space Welcome to our charming old town house in Murten! Our lovingly and stylishly furnished house can accommodate up to 6 people and is ideal for two to three couples and/or a family. The house has two bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed and enough storage space for your personal belongings. Two spacious bathrooms, fully equipped, allow enough privacy. The generous dining area with large windows offers a wonderful view of the town hall and the castle tower. The well-equipped kitchen also allows you to stay longer in the house. Cosy seating and a flat-screen TV in the living room are the ideal place to relax. Here you will also find additional comfortable beds for two people. The exterior of the house, with its large barn door, refers to the building's original use as a storehouse. The two-storey facade clearly contrasts with the interior of the house, which develops over four storeys and appears spacious thanks to a contemporary conversion. At the end of the 19th century, a fire destroyed the house and only the fire walls on both sides remained. These are painted with marsh lime mortar and are visible on both sides throughout the house. With their irregularities and niches, they contribute to the special atmosphere in the house. The floors are connected by a wide staircase with a stair lift. This makes the entire house wheelchair accessible. Other things to note The rental price includes everything (visitor's tax, bed linen, towels, kitchen linen, final cleaning, electricity and water costs, use of the internet). Coffee, tea, olive oil, aceto balsamico, salt, pepper and sugar are available to guests throughout their stay. The tap water of Murten is of drinking quality.
