Mackay Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is right on the Lost River just two miles outside of the city of Mackay. Surrounded by mountains, there is an abundance of wildlife on the property, as well as a mile of river front to fish. The large bunkhouse can accomodate families or groups of fishermen, hunters, ATV riders, golf or snowmobile in the winter months. Year round activities are abundant at this property with beautiful views off the large deck overlooking The Lost River. **We have now added a golf simulator!** The space The complete remodel on the Bunkhouse is completed! One larger master bedroom has a master bath. Master bederoom has one King bed & patio door out to deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Additionally there are two twin size memory foam mattresses for beds. Open kitchen, dining room, family room for relaxing. Large windows to take in the views all around. Circular driveway with parking. Lawn that runs down to the river bank. This is not a fenced property and that is the reason we have posted no children, due to the close proximity of the river. We also can accomodate RVs with camping spots. We have power and water hookups. There is a sewer that you dump with a portable wagon if you like, or there is an RV dump in the city of Mackay just two miles away or one in Arco. Camping spots will be $50/night. We can accomodate larger groups of families this way by renting the Bunkhouse and letting us know how many RVs you would like to bring. (Limited availability). Guest access There are 40 acres here. Guest may acess the river, travel down river, hang out on the river bank and yard around the bunkhouse. This is our private residence, so we have a shop, equipment and animals at the property as well that is fairly close in proximity to the bunkhouse. The property is close to ATV trails. Also, 3 miles out of town for night life or a round of golf at the beautiful 9 hole River Park golf course. **We now have a golf simulator on our property for added golfing! Other things to note We only ask that guests let us know if they are traveling down river on the property. There are wild animals that pass through our property at times, so guest will need to be aware of their surroundings if they are not within the vicinity of the homes. Wild animals we have personally experienced here include moose, elk, wild turkey, deer, fox, mountain lions, and coyotes to name a few. There are also wild birds, including hummingbirds, gees and ducks. We are hunters and do have firearms in our possession at our residence.
