Farmhouse in Ribatejo, 20km from Santarém, capital of Gothic. The guest house, with 60m2 and views of the orchard and garden, is designed for 3 or 4 people. It has a bedroom, living room with dining area and kitchenet, bathroom with shower. For larger groups, next to the guest house we have a private second bedroom/suite with 18m2, for 1 or 2 people, independent and wonderfully comfortable. Both spaces have AC, Smart Tv and wi-fi. The owner lives on the property. The space Discover the center of PORTUGAL and stay in a lovely farm - 80 km from Lisbon! Farm with 12.000 m2, located in Raposa village (village center at 700 m), where you will find a restaurant, gas station and grocery store/mini market selling fresh bread from the area. A car is necessary for this type of stay. In the nearest towns, Almeirim at 12km, Santarém (Gothyc capital) at 20km to the West and Coruche at 20km to the East, you can do shopping, explore these beautiful and picturesque towns "ribatejanas" and try the rich typical local cuisine, in particular the "sopa de pedra" (with chorizo, pork, beans and vegetables) in Almeirim, and eel soup. Unmistakable local wine and fruits of the region. Lisbon is located to the SW of this region, 80 km away, and it is very easy to get there both by car, via the A1 motorway, and by train, taking it from Santarém. Fátima is located to the north, 80 km. By A1 the trip lasts 50 minutes. Nazaré is located to the NW, 100 km. On the A15 and A8 motorways the journey takes 1 hour. Traditional rustic architecture has been fully respected at the farm, and the interior furniture is simple and wonderfully comfortable. The houses have an orientation East-West direction and open onto a charming garden (500m2) that ensures freshness on the hottest days. Reading, writing, painting or simply resting in the open air are activities that you can do in a bucolic environment full of serenity. Our guests can also pick our seasonal fruit for consumption. You can also have barbecues outdoors, from one of the outdoor barbecues, and enjoy the meal protected from the sun by the large shed at the entrance of the house guest, or in the garden. In summer, we prepare a small swimming pool that also be available to guests. The guest house is a ground floor apartment with an area of 60m2. It has one bedroom, a large living room with a dining area and a well-equipped kitchenette for the needs of a small family, and a bathroom with a shower. Great news!!! From April onwards, a second bedroom/studio is now available, located next to the guest house but with a separate entrance. For larger groups, this studio can accommodate one or two more people, with complete privacy. The guest house´s living room has a wood-burning stove for winter days and a powerful air conditioning unit, which warms in winter and cools in summer. The guest house is designed for 2, 3 or 4 people, with a double bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the living room in case there is a third person. A fourth bed can be made up of one of the sofas in the living room. We also have a cot available for families with babies. Babies have stay free of charge. The new bedroom/studio is very cozy and can accommodate one or two more people, it is approximately 18m2 and has two comfortable single beds, which can be converted into a double bed (queen-size) on request. It has a small and beautiful bathroom with shower, and is equipped with air conditioning, a Smart TV, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, and an espresso machine. Also, with a table and chairs, glasses, and crockery for your private meals. If you are traveling with a dog, the farm has a kennel, where you can leave it during your visits. We only accept dogs that are docile and polite, they must be kept on a leash outside, and never left alone inside the accommodation. The stay of your dog has an additional cost. Owners live on the farm, in the family cottage, away from the guests. Guest access The accommodation for guests, despite being in the complex of the farm's dwellings, is independent and is located away from the house where the owners live, giving it privacy and good accessibility. Parking your car is free and next to the accommodation. Guests will also have access to the space for laundry and barbecue, common to the owners. Guests can fully enjoy the terrace adjacent to their accommodation, with a shed and outdoor furniture, and the corner of the garden also adjacent to the accommodation. You can also stroll through the orchards and almond groves, and pick fruit in season for your own consumption. In Summer you can cool off in a small pool measuring 5.5m in diameter and 1.20m deep. If you are traveling with a dog, the farm has a kennel, where you can leave it during your visits. Other things to note Access to the accommodation is via a gate using a code that will be provided few days before your arrival. At check-in, inside the accommodation you will find a remote control to facilitate the opening of the gate, as well as the accommodation key. Registration Details 25619/AL
