The Republic of Tajikistan, in accordance with the new Government decree, introduces a unilateral visa-free regime for citizens of 52 countries. Citizens of these countries can stay in Tajikistan for up to 30 days. The new procedure will be in effect from January 1, 2022. Registration of foreign citizens of 52 countries, for which the visa-free regime is in force, is carried out within 10 working days in accordance with the current legislation, namely Article 5 of the Law "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons in the Republic of Tajikistan", and the requirements of paragraphs 2 and 14 of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 207, dated March 31, 2020. In accordance with another decree of the Government of Tajikistan, the list of countries whose citizens are entitled to receive a visa in a simplified manner has been expanded by another 14 countries.
