My apartment is conveniently located near the water on a hill at one of Stockholm´s most attractive addresses on the island Sodermalm. The area has a picturesque and charming character with a blend of history and modern culture. Surrounded by houses, cobblestone streets, and lamps from the 18th century my home offers you a quiet countryside feeling in the middle of the city pulse. The space The location of my apartment makes it easy for you to discover Stockholm by foot, bus subway (just a block form the apartment) or a bike ride. Within walking distance from my apartment you can take a swim and go fishing in the clean and clear water, ice-skate in the wintertime and get access to boat rides out in the fantastic archipelago of the 20.000 islands surrounding Stockholm. You will also be in walking proximety to the "Top 10 popular things to see and do in Stockholm" as: the Old town, the Royal palace and the City hall, the Wasa-, ABBA- and Fotografiska museum and Djurgården with Skansen and the amusement park Gröna Lund. Last but not least you will stay meters from Monteliusvägen, a 500-meter long (quarter mile) walking path, lined with charming houses on one side and a beautiful view on the other, with a magnificent view of Lake Mälaren, City Hall, and Riddarholmen, especially at sunrise and sunset. Just steps from my apartment you can find theaters, cafes, restaurants, clubs, movies, bars as well as galleries, museums and a selection of some of the best designer shopping in the city. Södermalm is also the gourmet´s paradise with top rated restaurants a variety of cousins as well as delicatessens, health food stores and farmers markets. The apartment contains a fully equipped kitchen with a new stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator, plus a microwave, and it’s fully stocked with cookware, dishes, glasses, etc. A garbage chute is located two floors down. In a separate room, you’ll find a dining table for four, and a living room with a couch and technical state of art (TV, stereo, high-speed wifi). A comfortable queen bed (width 160 cm) is located in a divided part of the living room. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower and a hair dryer. Nice linens and towels are supplied. Convenient laundry facilities in the building. My apartment is most suitable for a single or couple rather than a family with children—sorry!
