Come explore Seattle from this quiet spot in North Ballard! This private apartment has natural light, a great work set up, outdoor space, and is in a central location to allow you to explore all Seattle has to offer! It is in the lower level of our house (we live above) but completely private. The space has many conveniences, a kitchenette with basic necessities, free and easy parking, fiber optic high-speed Wi-Fi, an HD TV and is walking distance to so many amazing restaurants and breweries! The space You will enter the unit with a private entrance and come through the kitchenette area. Please note that there are about five stairs down to enter the unit. The bedroom is spacious and includes a queen bed, smart TV, dresser, hangers, and a workspace. The workspace includes a monitor and keyboard. There is a HDMI and USBC cable to hook up to the monitor. Let us know if you need something else and we might be able to help out! The bathroom includes some basic shampoo, conditioner and soap. Please note that there is a small step to enter the shower. Also, we have a toilet that makes some extra noise (due to a pump) when flushing, showering, or using the sink. This is normal just a heads up for the first time you use it! The unit also includes a kitchenette, dining area, and outdoor table. Guest access We will provide a unique code to access the unit with no contact. Other things to note Our neighborhood is adorable, quiet, safe, and central to most Seattle attractions! We neighbor a park with a community garden, have tons of great restaurants and bars walking distance and downtown Seattle is easily accessed by a 15-minute bus ride (the 28 express) or a 15-minute drive. We are happy to share a complete list of our favorite spots and recommendations (brewery crawl, best parks, best food, etc.) when you book with us so that you have the best local experience when you visit Seattle! For quick reference, here are some common spots and their distance from our place! Feel free to message with any additional questions. Ballard, known for its trendy shops, amazing restaurants and bars is about a mile walk or quick bus ride away. Green Lake, a great spot to walk, paddle on the lake or grab happy hour is ~2 miles away. Fremont, another amazing neighborhood known for its restaurants and nightlife is an 8-minute bus ride away. Gas works park (one of our favorites) is ~3 miles away. Sunset hill / Golden Gardens (the BEST spot for sunset) is ~2 miles away. We live upstairs above the unit you will be renting and will be around during your stay. Your space and entrance is completely private, but we might run into you outside the house during your stay.
