Welcome to our country retreat! Relax and enjoy the Southern charm. A 3 bed, 2 bath cottage with optional Glamping tent add on for overnight or a place to relax during the day as weather permits. There is a TV in every room, cable, Wi-Fi, 2 outdoor decks, fully stocked kitchen, and a charcoal grill. Escape hectic city distractions for a few days, a multi-bedroom option while visiting family, just passing through and need to rest, or attending events in the area. A comfy home away from home! The space The cottage is on the edge of a family compound on a 3 + acre heritage parcel surrounded by trees. The home has 1 queen bed in the master with en-suite bath and 2 other bedrooms with a full bed in each. There is a second bathroom off the living room. The Glamping tent is an add on amenity with an additional charge so please let us know if you plan to use at time of booking otherwise the tent is locked. Not available until May 2025 due to hurricane season. Guest access Guests can park in the front of the home in the driveway. Ample parking for 3 cars. The home has a side yard and large back yard that is not gated for enjoying outdoor activities. We provide a lawn size corn hole set and other games when weather permits. Other things to note There are certain nuances that accompany a rural southern property. There is wildlife on the perimeter of the property as well as a few ancestors residing discreetly outside of the common area of the home. Please let us know whether the Glamping tent will be used during your stay so we can prepare it for your arrival. There is a nominal fee per stay for access.
