Hattie - luxury secluded coastal shepherds hut

Escape the chaos of everyday life and chill out in our romantic retreat for two. It's in an AONB along the North Devon coast and set in its own private garden behind a picket fence, with ample parking. Beautifully finished in oak and tastefully furnished. Lovely underfloor heating, a woodburner, cosy sofa in the snug area and a super comfy king-sized bed. Only a 30 second walk for the most amazing views & sunsets over Lundy Island or enjoy a glass of wine under the stars around the fire pit… The space Hattie Hut is set back in her own private garden which has ample parking for your vehicle in front of a picket fence on a hard standing area. Our lovely unique shepherds hut was designed and lovingly handcrafted by our friend here on the farm to an extremely high standard. Switch off and unwind as you make your way up the private path and into your bolt hole - well lit at night. A few wooden steps welcome you to Hattie for the next few days or so. With dimmable lighting you can set your own ambiance in each area. The kitchen is well equipped with a Belfast sink, ceramic hob, Tefal easy fry oven & grill, stove top kettle, under counter fridge, breakfast bar, pots, pans & utensils etc. together with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar & milk. The snug has a cosy 2 seater sofa, wood burner, smart TV and a few books & games. The king-sized bed feels like it is in its own room, with a super comfy orthopaedic mattress and 13.5 tog duvet, the bedding is provided so it's all made up for your arrival - soft & fluffy towels are provided for you too. The luxury shower room & toilet facilities are just a few steps away down a little path from your private pocket of heaven, which you share with a few people on our already established campsite at Westacott Farm. We haven’t skimped on sockets & USB ports as I realise how important they are these days…so you will find them at various places. Outside we have created a small area to be enjoyed at anytime of day (weather permitting) from breakfast in the morning sun, to coffee time & then lunch or evenings with a BBQ or cooking over the fire pit & toasting marshmallows perhaps…the choice is yours!
