Description
The Rebière-Nègre cottage is located on a small mountain plateau, in the heart of the Millevaches Regional Natural Park, overlooking a peat bog with unique fauna and flora. Surrounded by forests and wet and dry moors, it is secluded, hidden in its wood and only 2 km from the village with shops. Rustic bohemian with all modern comforts. Self check-in and check-out, cleaning required, bed linen and towels not provided. In winter: long stays only. The space The cottage is like a tiny house on stilts, optimized to have the most comfort in a small space of 21 m2 (bedroom, kitchen-living room, bathroom). Important: - Guests will be able to arrive and depart independently, which means leaving the cottage very clean and arranged as they found it, so that the next guests can find the accommodation in order (a check is made by a person between two stays, with additional cleaning if necessary). - Period November 21 – March 21: only long stays (more than 1 week) are accepted, as the cottage is frost-protected and requires special opening and closing. Listing composition: - a terrace of about 15 m2 with railing. - a living room-kitchen; 2 armchairs, coffee tables and a large dining table easy to move on the terrace, chairs inside/outside; fridge, induction stove, combined microwave oven, sink. - one bedroom with 2 single beds (90/190) - please note, they cannot be joined together, as they are of different heights (except to place the mattresses on the floor; the bed bases are easy to move); available, a child bed (60/120) with bed base in low position. New mattresses of excellent quality: Bultex (adults) and organic fibers (child). - a bathroom with tiled shower, sink and toilet. Guests are asked to bring their own sheets (bottoms, flat sheets, duvet cover) and towels, but pillows, blankets and duvets are provided. All the kitchen essentials are available, tea towels, hand towels. Numerous brochures to learn about the area and its activities are available. Also available are some books, board games and games for young children (under 5 years old). Guest access Access to the entire house. Access to the property is via a semi-paved forest road for about 300 m from the main road. There is free parking at the entrance to the road, and parking spaces right next to the cottage. Other things to note The land is slightly sloping, about 300 m2 is covered with heather and moss, so I ask guests to be particularly careful and limit their movements. There are two stone and wood staircases that cross it. Flat areas allow you to take out deck chairs or mats for resting or picnicking if needed. I provide a hammock, a large plastic mat and a braided straw mat to settle in. You can also take down chairs and table (light wood). The land is not fenced; and it opens onto a large communal undergrowth where you can walk freely, with access to several hiking trails.
