Description
Poltisco House is a beautiful Georgian house, situated in a quiet, leafy, yet central location. It is a 5 minute walk into Truro city with its Cathedral, The Hall for Cornwall and its numerous shops and restaurants .It is also between the beautiful north and south coasts. The central city location and transport links mean that a car is not essential. It sleeps a max of 10 people with 5 generous bedrooms over 2 floors and is ideal for large family's or groups looking to explore the local area. The space Poltisco house was built in the 18th century and is now part of the prestigious Truro School. It was originally used as a boarding house but has now been adapted to provide comfortable, clean and safe accommodation for up to 10 people. The rooms are light and airy in a quiet but central location. Arranged over two floors, there is one single room, two twin rooms, a twin/double room ( with room for a cot) and one triple room. On the ground floor you enter into a generous hallway with one twin room and the laundry room ( with washing machine and separate dryer) . You will then find the comfortable lounge and separate kitchen/ dining room with large dining table and facilities for light self catering. On the first floor are four further bedrooms with generous proportions as well as a shower room with 3 separate showers and a W/C room with two toilets and hand basins. Guest access Polisto house is a large Georgian house, it has been split into 3, but each has its own entrance. There are two separate wings of the house that are used for staff accommodation for the school, this means there are two internal doors within the house which originally led into these other parts of the house. These are no longer used and are not for guest or resident use. Other things to note There is one parking space for use at the property but more free parking is available on the school site with prior arrangement.
