Meet our charming 1971 Airstream named Cecilia. Retro with touches of modern decor will transport you to your happy place in no time. Leave worries behind & simply enjoy your favorite person’s company with the adorable kitchenette, tiny yet beautiful bathroom, comfy beds & more. When the sun goes down, campfires are made easy with all the supplies provided + s’mores. Get ready for a nostalgic glamping experience close to fun shops, tasty restaurants & Memphis history. The space We’re old school Airbnb hosts who live next door and can assist if you need anything. This 29’ 1971 Airstream Ambassador includes all of the amenities you might expect with a small studio apartment or tiny home. The futon folds out into an almost full-size bed with memory foam topper & there are two single beds made up and ready to sleep in. The petite bathroom is perfect for us (5’11” & 4’11”) but may be less comfortable for others. The kitchenette includes a 4-burner propane stovetop, original gas oven, microwave, fridge & freezer, coffee maker, and small waffle maker in the closet. And be sure to snap a complimentary Polaroid as a keepsake for the memories made in Memphis. You’ll be nice & toasty in the winter and cool in the summer with a space heater, rooftop AC, and portable fan. You have the entire airstream to yourself and share the spacious backyard with guests in a house on site (rent all together for up to 9 guests here: airbnbcom/h/bohoblue). Four guests maximum in the airstream. No extra overnight guests are permitted and please note that smoking is not allowed inside but welcome outside. Although we love pets, we believe that an Airstream is not a pet friendly environment; therefore, no pets are allowed please. Guest access Enjoy exclusive use to the Airstream and shared outdoor living with other guests in the back yard. The blue house is inaccessible. Other things to note This Airstream is in the backyard of a house with two airbnbs rented out separately or all together. There may be other guests on site during your stay but your place is only accessible to you. Your stay provides a living wage for a refugee family who lives in the neighborhood and provides the housecleaning. Also, we donate a percentage of the profit from your stay to nonprofits that connect people in need with temporary housing. Thank you for staying with us! We can usually provide an earlier check-in or later checkout with a $25 fee for the extra coordination with housekeeping that is required. Just message us and we’ll let you know if possible. You may hear city sounds like overhead planes, distant trains, etc. but this hasn’t bothered the large majority of our guests. We do provide a white noise machine as well as ear plugs for light sleepers. NOTE: the neighborhood rooster mentioned in past reviews has moved away :-) While our cancellation policy is set as firm, reach out to us if plans change. We usually are able to provide a full refund if someone else books our place after you cancel. The following does NOT apply to reservations made on Airbnb (who has their own vetting & resolution process). For all other booking platforms, guests are required to complete our pre-arrival process including a photo of a valid ID, signing our rental conditions, and submitting a valid credit or debit card to be pre-approved for a security deposit (card will not be charged just authorized in case of damage or rule violation). This process needs to be completed before check-in.
