The apartment with terrace and garden is located in the thatched half-timbered house directly on the Elbe dyke overlooking the wide river landscape. Switch off, cycle, enjoy nature – an ideal location to take a deep breath, relax and slow down. The space Description of the apartment: Our listed 2-post timber-framed hall from 1827 was expertly rebuilt, renovated and restored with ecological, renewable building materials with a lot of love for detail. The old building fabric was preserved as far as possible, the thatched roof exudes comfort, and the clay plastered walls ensure a pleasant and healthy indoor climate. Six people can be accommodated in this unique architectural monument and can enjoy the special atmosphere of the house. Please note: The house is equipped with a bio-sewage treatment plant. This can occasionally lead to unpleasant odors in the bathrooms. Please only book if you can deal with it. Ground floor: On the ground floor is the cozy living room, which is generously designed with about 35 m². The windows open the view directly to the dyke and the Elbe landscape. The adjoining kitchen is not only beautiful and spacious, but also fully equipped – including a dishwasher and generous basic equipment. A special highlight is the old, originally restored cooking area, which serves only as a decoration, but underlines the charm of the house. The small, about 11 m² dining room offers space for convivial meals. In the large antique kitchen cabinet you will find dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and much more. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor. First floor: On the first floor there are two bedrooms, each equipped with double beds (1.80 x 2.00 meters). The atmosphere of the rooms is characterized by the exposed timber, which gives them a special coziness. Both bedrooms offer plenty of storage space for clothes and books as well as cozy seating. The bathroom on this floor is about 7 m² and has a sink, a separate shower and a large bathtub. The beds are freshly made when you arrive, and towels are of course provided. Another toilet is located in a separate room, which is additionally equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. Attic floor: In the gable of the house is another bedroom. This open space is over 40 m² and impresses with its enormous room height and the visible old and new beams. The crooked brick chimney, which is regularly mentioned by our guests, gives the room a very special touch and underlines the charm of this historic house. Exterior: The meadow in front of the house belongs to the apartment and offers plenty of space to relax and play. On the terrace you can sit comfortably and enjoy the fresh air and the unobstructed view of the Elbe. Surroundings: Unbesandten: The small, idyllic village of Unbesandten is located directly on the Elbe and impresses with its quiet and natural surroundings. The Elbe dyke invites you to take long walks and bike tours where you can enjoy the breathtaking scenery. The proximity to the Elbe also offers opportunities for boat trips and fishing. Lenzen: Just a few kilometers away is the charming town of Lenzen. Here you can explore historical buildings, such as Lenzen Castle, and take advantage of the rich cultural offerings. Lenzen also offers cozy cafés and restaurants where you can try regional specialties. Swimming lakes: The surroundings of Unbesandten and Lenzen are rich in swimming lakes that invite you to swim and relax in the warm months. Particularly popular are Lake Rudow and Lake Löcknitz, both of which offer clean water and beautiful beaches.
