Villa Alba is a fully serviced villa with housekeeping staff, a chef, an overnight security guard and a villa manager onsite to look after all of your needs. Nestled discreetly above the paddy fields in the village of Thiththagalla, you’ll find Villa Alba, a luxury 5 bedroom private villa which provides a true escape. The space Contemporary architecture and design are surrounded by nature making it the perfect place to relax, decompress and let the expert team look after you. Our 5 guest suites all have their own unique vantage points where you can spend time sitting on your balcony looking out for dancing peacocks, swinging langurs or swooping egrets. Guest access You'll have access to your own private ensuite room, the pool and garden, as well as all of the living areas. This also includes our pantry which has a coffee machine, kettle with a selection of teas and coffee and our fridges which are always fully stocked with bottles of cool water. The only areas that we prefer guests don't access are the main kitchen where our team are usually cooking up a feast for you (although fine to store anything that you'd like us to in the fridges), the staff room and office. Other things to note A hearty Western or Sri Lankan style breakfast is included in all our rates - this includes fruit juices & a fruit platter, then either your choice of eggs, egg hoppers, string hoppers or pol roti with sambals - all providing a great start to your day! Then we have menus for lunch, dinner and poolside snacks that you can choose from for other meals. We grow a lot of fruits, vegetables and spices ourselves at Villa Alba so try to feature our own produce as much as possible, we also try to source locally to support our local community - we highly recommend that you try the 'Taste of Thiththagalla' menu one night and let Chef Krishan cook you a 3 course meal focused on what's in season! During your stay with us, you can also take advantage of our in-room spa service (it's also lovely to have a massage out on the lawn if it's not too hot) or ask the team to arrange daily yoga sessions for your and your group with Kosala - you won't regret it!
