Atmospheric luxury room in a former wine farm

Enjoy in a unique place in the beautiful surroundings of the Cevennes d'Ardèche, in the countryside, but with all amenities in the vicinity (3 km). The space The room, in the former wine farm dating from the 18th century, overlooks the mountains and the valley of Rosières, is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort (with kitchenette, private shower and toilet, air conditioner (for cooling and heating)). There is a queen size bed (or two single beds on request). Our guest house is small and cozy (3 double rooms (see also our other listings)), with a cozy small courtyard on 5000 m2 of land. The winery (Le Mas des Chautards) is located outside the village, in the countryside, but all amenities are accessible by car or bicycle within 5 minutes in Rosières or in Joyeuse (supermarkets, organic shop, vegetable farmer, pharmacy, bakery, restaurants (3 km). The Ardèche itself is a beautiful region and has a beautifully preserved history (medieval villages, castles, churches, historical museums and various (historical) caves that are worth visiting! All in a beautiful setting and a very varied nature, with not to forget, the river Ardèche, the famous river gorge the Gorges de l'Ardèche with the impressive natural bridge the pont d'Arc, and much more! In the area you can hike, bike, canoe, kayak, mountain bike, spelunking, canyoning, ultra-light flying, everything is possible! Rosières is located on the river La Beaume, where you can walk to in 20 minutes (or 5 minutes by car). Here you can take a refreshing "dive". There is also a nice beach in Joyeuse (medieval village that is also worth a visit), at the dam in the river, where you can also swim (7 minutes by car), or in the village of LaBeaume (beautiful pebble beach!). Of course, you can also swim in the Ardèche (for example in Ruoms, Balazuc, Pradons or in Vallon Pont d'Arc), or in the Chassezac (including Grospierres, Casteljau). Larger cities such as Aubenas, Montélimar, Privas, are at a distance of 20 minutes to 1 hour. But Orange is also worth a visit (1.5 hours). We are happy to provide you with more information about the area! (In addition to Dutch, we also speak German, English and French). Towels, bed linen and a simple breakfast are included in the price. The breakfast essentials (coffee, tea, orange juice, artisan toast, butter and jam (local products)) are in the room upon arrival. You can prepare it yourself at any time. In the room, there is a kitchenette, with 4-burner gas stove, a combi-microwave, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. There is also a shared kitchen, where basically everything is available and what you can use (blender, pizza oven, gourmet set, fondue etc. etc.). The washing machine and dryer are in the wine cellar. The veranda, courtyard and grounds are at your disposal. Bicycles can be safely placed in the garage or in the basement.
