This private lower-level studio is located in Fircrest, a quiet suburb of Tacoma, and offers a peaceful retreat with a European-style kitchenette, spa-style shower, patio, and hot tub. Enjoy a private lockbox entry, fast Wi-Fi, and dedicated workspace. Close to shopping, restaurants, hospitals, JBLM, and freeway access. Nestled in a quiet, wooded backyard, the suite overlooks the garden and offers a calm, comfortable place to unwind. The space With a private, lockbox entry at the rear of the property, the suite is completely private and closed off from the rest of the house, so that you can come and go as you wish. Suite features a queen-sized bed with comfortable mattress and 100% cotton sheets. There is a hot tub available for occasional use during your stay. We ask that you let us know if you would like to use it and follow all rules associated with the hot tub: *Please do not bring ANY food or beverages into the hot tub area with you. *Appropriate swim-wear must be worn. *Please keep your hands to yourself unless you are assisting others into the hot tub. *Please keep your head above the water, swimming is not allowed. There is a large closet area for clothes and shoes. The kitchenette has a coffee maker, nespresso, large toaster oven, mini-fridge (with small freezer), microwave, electric kettle and induction plate--you can prepare almost any meal with all the options and there are dishes provided for up to four as well as common kitchen utensils. Bathroom features a huge multi-head shower and two large mirrors and lots of storage for toiletries. The tv is equipped with an Roku so you can connect to your own streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, or Prime Video. Wireless internet is fast with 200 mbps download speeds, ideal for video calls, remote work, etc. Guest access There is a large cul-de-sac at the top of the property that we try to keep clear for your parking space. Please parallel park, on the right side of the cul-de-sac right past the mailbox, please pull up to the break in the bushes where the path is. Once parked follow the path directly down the steps (do not walk out on the upper level deck) across the patio (where you will see the hot tub to your left) continue straight to the lower level deck, take the first right and the Airbnb will be on your right with key box on the wall. The driveway on the other side of the home is used for the main house and garage only. Other things to note Our family lives in the main part of the house, so while we do a good job not being loud, family noise is to be expected. :) You will hear kids, voices, respectful music, and footsteps and while your space is entirely your own, you will most likely see us around the property. The backyard is for private family use, however please feel free to enjoy the deck and dedicated bistro table outside your unit. Due to family allergies and asthma we do not allow any pets, support animals, smoking, vaping, incense, drugs or open flames inside or anywhere on the property. Fireplace is for aesthetics only.
