The space Renting the Reserve exclusively gives your group full access to all six lakeside houses. Each home features a fully equipped kitchen, wood-burning stoves (firewood provided), and distinct architectural charm. We provide all essentials for a seamless stay: premium linens, lake towels, and bath amenities (shampoo/body wash). Whether you are cooking a group meal in the outdoor pizza oven or paddling on the mirror-still lake, this is a rare setting for total privacy and connection. Guest access Nature: 300 acres of forest + 3-mile "Lake Trail" loop. Water: 18-acre lake with provided canoes, kayaks, and life jackets. Recreation: Volleyball/badminton, ping pong, and kids' playset. Other things to note Weddings & Events: Airbnb rates cover lodging only. Because weddings require specific insurance and site contracts, they cannot be booked directly through this platform. Access is via a scenic 9-mile dirt road (approx. 45 minutes). It’s a beautiful, meditative climb, but please plan your arrival accordingly! Lake Health: If bringing your own floaties/paddleboards, they must be sanitized before entry to protect our ecosystem. Fishing: Smallmouth bass and bluegill are plentiful; we practice a strict catch-and-release policy. Connectivity: Free Wi-Fi is available in all houses.
