The House Next Door

Welcome to La Maison d'À Côté! LMDAC, as we call it affectionately, really is the house next door to the one where I live. It is a place that we have thought, furnished, equipped, and decorated with you and your needs as our guests in mind and we hope that you'll like it. And I promise, if you decide to stay there for a while, we will do everything possible so that you feel... #JustLikeHome :) LMDAC is located in the Aflao-Soviépé district, about 10 km from downtown Lomé on the road to Adidogomé. It's a pretty family villa on two levels with 3 bedrooms + living/dining room, kitchen, two shower rooms, three separate WCs, numerous terraces and a garden planted with trees and flowers. The house has been recently renovated, furnished, equipped and decorated with care. On the ground floor, you'll find: - A large through living room (35 m2) comprising: • Front terrace • Reading area • Living room • Dining room seating 6 • Rear terrace and courtyard - Fully furnished and equipped kitchen • With plenty of storage space • Fridge + freezer, gas stove + oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster • All cooking and eating utensils - Guest WC + washbasin - Storage space under the staircase - Pretty garden with trees and flowers - 2-car garage (one covered) Upstairs is the sleeping area: - The air-conditioned *Bléwu* Parent Suite (26 m2): • A 2-seater bed • Storage cupboard • Lounge area with 2-seater sofa bed + flat-screen TV • En-suite bathroom with WC/shower and hot water tank • Two private terraces (Front & Rear) - The air-conditioned room *Lonlon* (14 m2): • Double bed • Storage cupboard • Private terrace - The air-conditioned room *Djidjoe* (14 m2): • Double bed • Storage cupboard • Private terrace - Separate shower & WC, shared by both rooms on the landing You will have access to the rooms described above, to the garage (for one car) and to the garden. There are 2 outbuildings that are not accessible to our guests: these are our private areas. Please contact me via Whatssap. You will find me online most of the time and very responsive. Do not hesitate to leave me a written or voice memo and I will do my best to answer asap! Of course, the rules of courtesy and good manners apply even on the Whatssap platform so I am super fond of “hellos”, “good evenings”, “pleases” and “thank yous” which always make communication smoother, am I right ?! Please also note that I make it a point of honor not to write to you or respond between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. except in exceptional cases, so don't be surprised not to see me react during the night ;) LMDAC is located in the Soviépé neighborhood, approximately 10 km from Lomé City Center on the road to Adidogomé. It is a quiet area where you will find a small market for fresh produce, and a Supermarket Le Champion 5 minutes by car from the house as well as many local restaurants and fast food spots who also offer their meals to take away or through delivery The price *DOES NOT INCLUDE* the following options (which are not generally used by our guests, which is why we do not include them in the rental price): o *A/C*: 5€ (3,300 CFA) per day (payable on site and in advance when requested). o *Cable & TV*: if you wish to watch television, we will activate a cable subscription on request at the provider's current rate (Canal+ Afrique). o *Cleaning #1*: The house is cleaned before your arrival. A full housekeeping service is also provided once a week on Wednesday. o *Cleaning #2*: Equipment and cleaning products are available in the accommodation so you can clean during your stay. o *Cleaning #3*: You can also request additional cleaning for a minimum of 4€ (2,600 CFA) per service.
