Enjoy our quirky, spacious, and casual walkout basement suite. You'll have exclusive access to the entire lower floor of our home including private entrance, cozy bedroom, full bathroom, sitting area / workspace, & compact kitchenette w/ coffee station. There's even a meditation nook to Zen out for a few. We're located in an urban-ish, multicultural neighborhood just outside the Brookside/UMKC/Rockhurst neighborhoods & less than 15 min to most KC attractions. The space The suite is housed on the lowest level of our three-story home, originally constructed in 1920 and renovated back in 2010. The building has plenty of time-worn character. It's a lived-in family home, cleverly designed for a cozy ambiance. (Don't mind the clutter in the garage. We are in the process of re-organizing). Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entirety of the lower-floor, guest entrance and basement suite. The guest space is connected to our living quarters by a staircase that we don't access during guest stays. If this isn't enough privacy for you, this might not be the spot for you. Please note: The upper floors are our private family quarters not intended for guest use. Some noise does travel between the two spaces. Other things to note We provide parking in our driveway, which sits directly beside the guest entrance. There is also on-street parking available all along the street if a larger space is needed.
