The space Welcome to The Alpine Lake House! Enjoy stunning views of Innsbrook's largest lake from our lakeside dock and boat slip, our firepit in the woods and our 300 square foot screen porch in the trees. Summers, our family comes here to swim and kayak in the lake, fish from our dock or canoes, relax together on the shady dock, and sleep "outside" on our screen porch sofas listening to the cicadas. Summer evenings, we fix dinner together around the 10' long island, grill on the gas grill or charcoal grill, build a fire in the firepit for s'mores, catch fireflies and then watch for shooting stars from the dock. Winters, we build fires in the stone fireplace, play games & do puzzles at the adjoining dining room table, eat at the kitchen island in the hearth room, work or tie flies from the quiet of our home office, play ping pong or watch tv downstairs. We love winter walking in the quiet woods and tramping through the snow followed by hot chocolate & a hot bath or shower in one of our 4 bathrooms. And at the end of the day, a roaring fire in the firepit brings us all outside again.Then, a good night's sleep in one of our 5 bedrooms, listening to the quiet. Old style lake living at its best....relaxing by the lake with "nothing to do". Pricing: December 1st through May 23rd: $500/night with a 3 night minimum + taxes & fees May 23rd through November 30th: $700/night with a 4 night minimum + taxes & fees For longer stays & reduced rates, contact host for rate What this Place Offers: Lakefront, Dock & Boat Slip Lake access - Guests can get to a lake using a path down the hill to the private dock on Alpine Lake The lawn and landscaping are purposely kept in a natural state to preserve the woods and wildlife in their natural habitat.
