Osage River Get-away

Overworked? Stressed? Need to just Get-Away? to catch your breath again? This river front cabin is situated on a picturesque bend of the Osage River 15 min. east of historically rich Jefferson City, MO. With nearly a mile of view up river past the train trestle with its rustic beauty down river toward the bluffs the Bald Eagles nest on. Put in your boat at the community boat ramp and take a boat ride a few miles to the confluence of the Missouri River! The space Both the Osage and Missouri Rivers are premier destinations for catfishing and bowfishing. During times of low water there's a big beautiful sand bar in the middle of the river in front of the cabin to explore. Keep in mind the river levels can fluctuate daily. Kayaks are available and included in cabin rental, bring your own flotation devices. A charcoal grill is on-site. A fire ring and firewood are provided for your evening campfire by the river as you make s'mores and listen to the night sounds of summer. Go to bed in an almost impeccably clean cabin and wake up to enjoy a cup of coffee while sitting on the deck. Feel the morning breeze stirring and gaze across the river feeling refreshed and more closely connected to your Creator God. There is no TV in the cabin, wifi is available. Lane is shared with an RV campsite. Guest access You will share the lane with a RV campsite Other things to note There are 3 kayaks that guests are welcome to use. Life preservers must be worn! No dishwasher, bring paper ware if you don't care to be washing dishes more than you have to! No TV, kick back and enjoy each other and nature 😊 River levels can change, we keep tabs on levels and would notify guests if any major changes were predicted.
