A homely spacious Victorian house on the very edge of Snowdonia national park with a peaceful and sunny sunken walled garden. Overlooking the zip world quarry it is a great base for exploring, relaxing or work groups. Within a 20 minute drive you have Snowdon, Ogwen Valley, amazing Beaches and coastal walks , magnificent Castles, Adventure parks , Menai Bridge and Bangor Pier. Centrally located in Bethesda - within 5 minutes walk from river ,woods, park , pub , cafe, takeaways and tesco. The space As you enter the house through the hallway you have a large cosy living room with open fire and TV. A private dining room seating 8 is great for group meals, chatting , games or even office space. It is served by a compact , well equipped kitchen with a lovely view over the gardens . With shelf space oven, hob , microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and ice box - outside storage contains additional freezer and some extra storage At the top of the stairs is a slight step down to a bright bathroom with a relaxing double ended bath and over bath electric shower. Towels, bed linen,and basic toiletries are provided. Next to this is the “white” bedroom with a king size bed, and along the landing the “french” bedroom with double bed and en-suite with shower. The following floor has the attic rooms with great views from the roof windows. (If you are tall please mind your head!) As you enter you have a walk through room with twin single beds either side, and off which you have a mini en-suite with toilet and sink. As you walk through to the far end there is an additional bedroom with a double bed . We envisioned this as a family suite , but all rooms can take a travel cot or extra put me up beds if requested. The living room also has a double sofa bed should it be needed. Outside we have parking for 2 cars on the drive (which some may consider narrow ) Your exclusive and peaceful sunny walled garden is reached down a spiral staircase. The grassed area and well stocked border have plenty of seats to relax in and watch the large variety of birds at the feeder or socialise and dine out with a very large gas BBQ - We even have the traditional outside toilet ! There is also a greenhouse so we recommend the usual caution. Dogs are welcome and this area is securely fenced. Although we live in the garden apartment and will be your neighbours , you will still get your privacy but have the advantage of having us as your hosts, close to hand should you need anything. Other things to note Dogs are welcome but it is essential to please bring with you clean throws for the sofas or beds if they are to share with you. They should not be left unattended in the house or garden.
