Magical Bainskloof Pass Getaway at Rocky Falls #1

Rocky Falls Cottage is an off-grid, spacious cottage offering ideal holiday accommodation. It is large enough for a family or group of friends, but it's still cosy enough for a couples getaway. Tucked away in the mountains of Bainskloof, Rocky Falls Cottage is set within a beautiful private nature reserve, offering peace, privacy, and natural surroundings. The space The cottage features three bedrooms and an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area that flows out onto a large stoep. It is equipped with a fireplace and a wood-fired hot tub, making it ideal for all seasons. A dedicated work desk is also available upstairs. Our waterfall is a scenic five-minute hike from the house and flows year-round. Guests staying in the reserve enjoy exclusive access to a beautiful swimming spot in the clean fresh waters of the Witrivier. There are several hiking options in the area, including the Bak Kraans hike located right at our doorstep. This trail leads from our waterfall to the well-known Bak Kraans Window rock formation. The surrounding dirt roads are also perfect for mountain biking or a relaxed morning jog. Unwind in our magical valley, just an hour and twenty minutes from Cape Town. It’s the perfect, easy escape from the pace and pressure of city life. Guest access Guests get full private use of the entire cottage. Other things to note The cottage is located 2km down a small bumpy dirt road. Most vehicles won't have a problem but we recommend a vehicle with a higher clearance. Please drive slowly to avoid any mishaps. *Due to flooding this past winter a vehicle with a high clearance is essential. If you do not have a vehicle with a high clearance let us know and we will arrange a lift up to the house for you and down again at checkout time. There is no extra fee for this.
