Welcome to Léon's! We welcome you to our charming 1899 house which, after a complete renovation ending in early 2023, has regained comfort and elegance. In the rural setting of a small hamlet, and close to the family farm, you can enjoy the joys of the countryside and good local products. Irresistible charm. The space Guests will enjoy fully equipped accommodation, spacious rooms and a pleasant stay opening onto a charming sunny terrace. You will have the vegetable garden and the backyard as neighbors. The house has been completely renovated with traditional materials (lime plaster, oak joinery), bio-sourced (hemp straw insulation, cork balls and wood wool) and artisanal (bricks and artisanal tiles) in a resource-friendly (reuse) and heritage-friendly approach. Ideal for a few days of relaxation with family or friends, a business trip to the region or teleworking in the countryside. Guest access To ensure maximum flexibility, access to the house is independent (at a time that suits you) using a key provided in a code box. Other things to note Located in the heart of the Savoyard Alps foothills, in a country with rolling hills — the Albanais — you will be ideally located halfway between Annecy (15 min) and Aix-les-Bains (15 min), to enjoy their lakes, the mountains of the Massif des Bauges Regional Natural Park and the small hidden treasures of this green countryside. On the sports side, the house is close to hiking trails and marked mountain bike routes in Albanais. By taking them, you can discover the Crosagny ponds or the Chéran gorges. The Rumilly water sports recreation center is less than a kilometer away. A little further, the family winter sports resorts of Semnoz, Revard, and Margeriaz await you. Water sports enthusiasts will be served both in Annecy and on Lake Bourget. The thermal baths of Aix-les-Bains are available to you for a relaxing time. You will find a farm shop a few steps away, a weekly market in the village, and all the daily shops in the neighboring towns — Rumilly and St. Felix. You can also enjoy Annecy, a must-see shopping destination to combine window shopping and strolling in the old town. To continue to have fun, a summer open-air café is in the immediate vicinity. The house is ideally located close to the reception room of the Médicée. Many restaurants are nearby. Annecy and Aix-les-Bains, whose reputation is well established, will satisfy all gourmets. On the heritage side, the old village of Alby-sur-Chéran — the region's best-kept secret — awaits you. The Bauges massif (UNESCO Geopark) will surprise you with its exceptional natural heritage. The cultural programming of the Quai des Arts, the meeting times (St. Felix Felix, Harvest Festival and Balouria de Rumilly) and major events in the region (Musilac, Lake Festival, Annecy International Animation Film Festival) punctuate the season.
