Description
3B is a brainchild of a living cooperative in Downtown Brooklyn. By staying here you are supporting us to create, to write, record music and documentaries, heal bodies and minds, design, cultivate gardens and communities, and plot many future projects. The space 3B is a cooperatively-run (and fully registered & licensed) Boutique B&B in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. We've been featured in New York Magazine, Budget Travel, L Magazine, Brooklyn Magazine, Frommer's, Not For Tourists, The Paris Review, The Huffington Post, a New York Times blog, Refinery 29 and many others online and in print. This listing is for our largest room which has an extremely comfortable queen bed, and a day bed for lounging. The price includes a freshly made breakfast which is served in our brand new lounge. We also offer wifi and have an iMac available just for our guests. We'd love to have you stay with us. We can accommodate up to two guests at a time. 3B uses local, organic dairy and organic produce whenever humanly possible for our breakfasts. Dave often makes a quiche that will make you want to marry him and Cora's bread pudding is so good, someone wrote a song about it. 1.5 bathrooms are shared with the other guests. We clean them every single evening. 3B is located at a transportation nexus, within 1-5 blocks of the A/C/F, R/Q, 2/3, 4/5, B/D & G trains as well as the Long Island Railroad. You can be in Manhattan in less than ten minutes. We’re also at the center of a number of historic Brooklyn attractions: The Brooklyn Bridge is a fifteen minute scenic stroll through the parks and plazas of beside Borough Hall. From there you’re only minutes from a short walk to downtown Manhattan. 3B is the brainchild of a collective of wunderkinds who live cooperatively in Downtown Brooklyn. By staying here you are supporting us to create, to write books and theses, record music and radio documentaries, heal bodies and minds, design graphics and buildings, cultivate gardens and communities, and plot many a future project. Some of Brooklyn’s best neighborhoods are less than a ten minute walk from our front door. Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill are full of charming cafes, shops, homey bars and beautiful brownstones and only a few minutes away. Historic Brooklyn Heights is even closer, just across west of Borough Hall. There you can amble along the promenade and take in stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. For a very different Brooklyn experience, visit hip Dumbo for an open gallery night of contemporary photography, sculpture and paintings. But if we had to pick a favorite, it would be hard to beat Fort Greene– famously friendly neighbors, tons of trees, a beautiful park, relaxed bars and cafes– all of this a mere eight minute walk from our front door.
