The Cartshed is family owned & restored from a 150 year old derelict farm building into a cosy cottage. With off road access to the Trans Pennine Trail upto the Peak District it’s the perfect base for getting away from it all and immersing yourself in the great outdoors. The cottage benefits from modern amenities whilst retaining traditional features & is located in a private farmstead, an idyllic peaceful setting overlooking open countryside. 2 well behaved dogs are welcome per stay.s The space Entrance hall with coat hooks stand & boot stand House bathroom, fully tiled with a heated towel warmer, w/c rustic vanity sink unit, & large shower unit. Large fully equipped country kitchen with underfloor heating. Double oven and hood, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Dining area includes an oak table with 4 matching chairs & a hanging overhead light- which is great for clearer visibility when playing cards. The lounge area includes a large leather sofa & 2 armchairs set back from the cute, cream log burning stove & 32 inch TV. Bi- fold doors Iook out onto the garden & the stone walled fields. A path provides access to the large private garden & seating area, with patio furniture. The bedrooms are accessed from the hallway Master Bedroom Double bed, wardrobe/storage, a smart TV with access to Netflix Bedroom 2 Across the hallway bedroom 2 offers smart TV, twin beds (or a double bed option) with an abundance of character, storage space & comfort.
