Description

Please Message me to ask about possible discounts and length of stay minimums. Our Custom Built Skoolie spent the first decade of it's journey as a city shuttlebus in Brunswick Maine. This has been fully converted by us into a Tiny Home /converted Shuttle bus. 1000 feet back from the road up on a hill overlooking an old apple orchard. The space If you are interested in a unique/one of a kind stay you may want to check out the Old Apple Express. (Built from a 2010 Chevy express) Or maybe you've had ideas of possibly buying or building your own Skoolie and want to try spending a few nights in one before you make your decision...now's your chance! The pictures describe the space pretty well, Room to sit, sleep, cook inside as well as plenty of room to spread out and relax outside either on the deck or down by the fire pit. Buckfield is located in the Oxford Hills region within nearby proximity to numerous hiking trails, Oxford Plains Speedway, Oxford Casino, local restaurants & shopping all within 15-30 minutes in Norway/South Paris & Lewiston/Auburn. However right in-town there are a few local stores as well as a local pub. Guest access You will have full access to the site. The bus is best suited for a max of 2 individuals. If more space is needed and you have a tent you want to set up. please reach out to me first. By booking, the guest agrees to the "house rules" section which includes the liability waiver which will apply to all guests. Other things to note ***Effective July 2025 We have run power so although the bus is mainly "off grid" and powered by the solar setup. there is no longer a need to run the generator on overcast days or when running the air conditioner as backup power is supplied by the grid! The home is powered by 800 watts of Solar panels and storing that power into a 24 Volt battery system that holds 228 amp hours. For times of limited sun exposure and/or high usage of electricity it may require charging the battery with the onsite generator (Fuel included) If running the AC running the generator will most likely be required. Although this is technically off grid you will still have all of the amenities you have at home such as wifi, smart tv, kitchen, etc. Since the bus is hooked into a full well and septic there is no need to worry about lugging water or a composting toilet.
