Le Refuge (the cabin and the teepee)

Wooden cabin and its teepee in Auvergne. Come and have an unusual stay in the middle of the Livradois-Forez woods at an altitude of 700 m in a refuge, without electricity. Back to basics is guaranteed! You will love sharing a barbecue with your family in summer and winter, you will love a good fondue or raclette by the fire. The space You will arrive at the Refuge by a path of about 500 m through the woods (beware of low cars), and you will discover the teepee, with its 8 m high poles, which stand in front of a magnificent unobstructed view. In the teepee, you will find three small beds and in the cabin, (without electricity), there is a kitchen area with a gas hob, a sink with cold running water and a gas fridge. In the sleeping area there is a bed for two people and a bench for a child. In the living room you can eat on a large table, there is storage for dishes, a wood stove with an oven part above, a sofa bed that can be used as a bed. In the shower area, there is a dry toilet, a sink with cold running water (+ a homemade shower: a shower tray with a can that you can fill with hot water.) To light up the place, you have solar lamps and a candle chandelier. On the terrace; you can also bask and enjoy the sunset. Guest access Guests have access to the teepee, cabin and garden. Other things to note You will access the Refuge by a path through woods of about 500 meters. Pets are allowed. You can stop on the way before arriving at the Refuge, in a small village grocery store (Palladuc) where you will find farm products from the surrounding area. You can also visit the local inn "La Louvière" in the village of La Trappe, 500 meters from the Refuge.
