In this 1800's Rustic Farmhouse, bring your family, enjoy un-guided hikes in the fields and woods, and settle in at night with a campfire. Close to the Backbone Trail of the Finger Lakes National Forest, and the multiple ponds the National Forest has to offer. Seneca Lake and the wine trails are within 10 minutes and Cayuga Lake and Taughannock Falls within 15 minutes. The house was remodeled to its current state keeping as many of the original rustic farmhouse features as possble. The space 2-story 1800's farmhouse house located within miles of both Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. Home sleeps up to 8 people, with a King, Queen, Full, and 3 twin beds. Home is situated on the Hillside Haven property which houses other rental units and Campsites. All units share a common driveway with dedicated parking for each unit. Guest access Yards, house, stone patio Other things to note April-May and Oct-Nov is buggy season in the Finger Lakes/National Forest. Please plan accordingly when booking in these months. Bug Spray is a must, and you will most definitely encounter Flies, Bees, "Lady Bugs", etc. While we do our very best to keep the house free of Natures visitors, you may encounter some. Keeping windows and doors closed will help keep them outside. Air Conditioning is available from Mid-May thru Mid-Oct. Outdoor Wood Fire Pit is available all year-round.
