Country View Cottage

Get away from the hustle and bustle in this secluded, solar-powered, off-grid cottage overlooking a pastoral farm meadow. Drive past the red barn with chickens free-ranging, serene pond, and enter your own private oasis. Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sunrise over the meadow from your screened porch, and possibly catch a glimpse of the wildlife that abound on this 87 acre coastal Maine farm. ***NOTE. We are unsure we will have cattle this summer due to lack of availability. The space Sleeps 2-4. 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a sofa bed in main living area separate from bedroom. Guest access Guests have clearing area around the cabin to themselves as well as a trail through the meadow. Other things to note Water is from dug well and is not for drinking. Bottled water is provided. Both the main room and the bedroom have ceiling fans as well as large windows to allow the breeze from the meadow. The cabin is fully insulated but the solar system does not allow for a/c. Also note the grill is a Blackstone.
