Very centrally located, rural luxury wooden house with garden and private sauna. Ideal base for a family vacation. Stunning views over the meadows, right next to the lake (De Kaag). The cottage is luxuriously furnished and has everything you need. The garden with terrace, BBQ, trampoline, and pizza oven. Explore the water by swimming, by boat, or on SUPs. Cycle or walk through the beautiful surroundings, or visit the North Sea beaches of Katwijk/Noordwijk (15 min.), Amsterdam (25 min.), Leiden (10 min.), and Keukenhof (15 min.). The space The room is bright, modernly furnished, spacious and completely made of wood. In total there are 6 beds. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed (one of which is closed, the other is open) and there is a room with a bunk bed. When you arrive, the beds are already made up for you. There is a spacious fully equipped kitchen with Jura coffee machine (coffee beans), kettle, fridge, dishwasher and electric stove. In the living room, there is a wood-burning stove, a sofa, an armchair, and a dining table. The house has heating and air conditioning. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower. Also there is a washing machine available. The cottage has a terrace in front of and back. Next to the house is a sauna. Surrounding the property is a garden for your private use, including an Egg BBQ, garden furniture, and an area for dining outdoors. There is also a shared lawn for playing football or for a game of croquet. A pizza oven for delicious pizzas, a jetty to dock your boat (or rent a boat from us in the boating season), a trampoline and jeu de boule are also among the possibilities. Bed linen and towels included. Parking at the door is free, electric charging is possible. There are 4 cottages on the property, renting several cottages at the same time is possible. Dogs are allowed. Guest access The house has a sauna in the private garden. There are 4 wooden cabins on the property. The jetty and communal lawn are also accessible. The house has an Egg BBQ. There is a trampoline, a pétanque court, and a pizza oven that everyone can use. Swimming is possible in Lake Vennemeer. Stand-up paddleboards and a kayak are available for guests to use free of charge. It is possible to rent a boat from us. Next to our property is a marina with a restaurant. During the season, the restaurant is open and accessible to guests of the Lakehouses. There are games available that you can use such as jeu de boule/petanque, croquet, shuffleboard, soccer and badminton. Board games are also provided. Other things to note Our 4 cottages are very centrally located; the beach in Katwijk and Noordijk is a 20-minute drive, the old student city of Leiden with all its beautiful museums and canals is a 10-minute drive. Amsterdam is easily accessible in 20 minutes, and The Hague is a 15-minute drive. The cottages overlook the meadows and polder around Oud Ade and border the water of the Vennemeer and the Kagerplassen. Each cottage has its own berth available for a boat. Swimming is possible in the lake. There are SUPs available that can be used for free. Dogs are welcome at the lake houses if they are on a leash and do not sleep on beds or sofas.
