The space Welcome to Maison Belle Épine! 🌳 You are here in our family home acquired in 1967 by my husband's grandparents who lived there for many years before settling in Provins. We arrived in 1999 and lived here with our three daughters. It is a typical farmhouse of the Bassée as seen in the villages around the Seine Valley. Located in Seine-et-Marne, just over an hour from Paris, Maison Belle Épine is a charming family home. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, it offers a soothing and elegant setting for stays with peace of mind. A peaceful oasis to unwind🙌 Surrounded by green fields and woods, Maison Belle Épine is the perfect place for a getaway in the heart of nature. The proximity to the Seine allows for pleasant walks. The Bassée nature reserve a few kilometers away protects and collects species from this region. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can enjoy a real disconnection, lulled by the song of birds and the gentle breeze of trees.🌼 Provins, a medieval city classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a few kilometers away allows an ideal immersion in the time of the Middle Ages that will delight young and old. We have left our family furniture, such as the grandparents' farm table or the grandmother's piano, passed down from generation to generation. Maison Belle Épine can comfortably accommodate 11 to 15 people, with a configuration of 5 to 8 bedrooms, depending on your needs. A welcome booklet awaits you and I have selected the best places and tours and walks nearby. On the ground floor you will find 🏠 • A large living room with exposed beams and a "cathedral" ceiling, offering exceptional natural light on the mezzanine that promises beautiful discussions around the French pool table recovered from a bar near the house by my husband's grandfather. • A sitting area with a beautiful stone lintel fireplace, perfect for your winter evenings around the fire and two comfortable sofas that call for endless card games! 🔥 • A large, friendly table for lively meals with family or friends. 🍾 • A fully equipped kitchen, nearly 50 m2, ready to accommodate your culinary talents, a catering service or a home chef without any problem. • A relaxation room, with a piano, TV and board games for all ages. • The first "Xavier" bedroom with its private bathroom, double bedroom with queen size bed and suitable for elderly or people with more difficult mobility thus avoiding stairs. A nice panoramic view of Anànbo decorates this nice comfortable and accessible room! Upstairs, the night area consists of: • The 2nd bedroom "André", overlooking the mezzanine of the landing, offers a unique atmosphere next to the old French pool table. It is equipped with a 160 cm queen size bed and shares its bathroom. • The 3rd bedroom, "Geneviève", with garden views offers a peaceful oasis. It is equipped with a 160, Queen size bed and shares its bathroom with the children's room 4, creating a functional and friendly space. . The 4th bedroom "François", with garden views, has two single beds and a library of children's books. . A bathroom and shower for the "Geneviève" and "François" bedrooms. . The 5th bedroom, "Arthur & Co", with garden and courtyard views, has 3 single beds, a library of children's books, board games, an antique children's bed. It leads to a huge bathroom with bathtub and shower and a very practical changing table. It has plenty of storage to organize things and create a practical environment for younger guests. . The 6th bedroom "Elsa", with a queen size bed and a lovely view of the garden. It shares a bathroom with the 8th bedroom. . The 7th bedroom "Louise" welcomes you with a 160 bed, queen size, a pretty antique wardrobe and a private shower room. . The 8th bedroom "Agathe", very spacious, has a 160 bed, a nice panoramic mural from Bilboquet. It has a desk and a lovely view of the garden, creating a functional and welcoming space. . A bathroom with a nice and original porthole, very functional for the "Elsa" and "Agathe" bedrooms. The beds are made in France and are new and of hotel quality. Bed linen, made of Oeko-Tex cotton gauze, ecological guarantee 🛌 . The Seine is a few kilometers away by bike 🚲and you will find places to picnic and spend the afternoon by the water! You can rent part of the house, 5 bedrooms instead of 8. Many activities, walks, hikes and visits are to be expected: visit the Château de la Motte Tilly, the Claudel Museum in Nogent-sur-Seine, the medieval city of Provins, the Museum of Life of Yesteryear in Les Ormes-sur-Voulzie and the pretty flea market next door, walks in the Bassée Nature Reserve, the covered market in Bray-sur-Seine and the banks of the Seine and visit the many local producers in the area who sell the best fruits and vegetables in the region.🥕🍅🫛
