Queen Anne’s Escape - Beautiful 6 Bed in Edgewater

This home has the charm of a 100-year-old Queen Anne Victorian, with modern updates throughout. We have invested a lot of time and resources to equip our home for high-end entertaining, and it has been a great place for our large family to gather for holidays and special occasions. We want to help others create memories and fall in love with the breezy, Lakewood/Edgewater area the way we have. We welcome all questions and inquiries, and are excited to help you plan your Queen Anne Escape!. The space The house is set up to be a great landing pad for a family or midsize group. There is a generous amount of communal space on the first floor with a sitting room, living room, and large formal dining room as well as the kitchen and a half bath. On the second floor, there are four bedrooms one of which has a desk for a nice office set up, and another of which is set up as more of a second living room with a television and daybed that pulls out into two trundle twin beds. The third floor is a quiet, beautiful suite. The bedroom there has a king bed that looks into a turret quaint turret that we have equipped as a small kitchenette with a mini fridge and high-end Keurig model. This turret is one of our favorite things about the house, with 5 breezy windows overlooking our tree lined street. In addition to this master bedroom, the adjacent bath has a Victorian clawfoot tub that is great for soaking. An additional sitting/play room completes the third floor, and overlooks the backyard with two twin daybeds. We also have ample outdoor space for folks to enjoy. Our front porch overlooks our front yard, and has comfortable matching swings, a few rattan chairs, and string lights to enjoy nice weather into the evening. There is an oversized 5 cubic foot washer and two dryers in the basement to meet varying laundry needs. Our 1 year old pup is central in our lives, and we are excited to enable other folks who want to travel with pets to bring them into our home. Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet, and we will arrange an additional cleaning fee based on the situation. Above all, we value clear, honest communication, and want to work with you to provide the best stay possible. In the event that the number of guests exceeds that agreed upon in the listing without clear communication and agreement, we may charge additional cleaning fees to cover the additional wear on the property. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire house and backyard including a patio with outdoor furniture and a large umbrella to enjoy the good weather. The driveway can accommodate 5-6 cars for larger groups. There are smart locks on the doors, and we will provide an easy-access code for you to come and go as you please throughout your stay. Other things to note We do not allow parties, but are open to working with you if you are thinking of an event / gathering for more than 12 people. Please reach out and let us know your goals, and we are happy to work with you to try and accomodate. We have a security system including a smart doorbell and exterior cameras to keep the property safe, and have visibility in case there is heavier traffic of folks into the property than we agree upon for your booking.
