Sylvan Blue is a lake house located on Sylvan Lake in Newaygo, Michigan. It is one of four in a chain of lakes, with direct access to Emerald Lake. Our lakes are beautiful, private, with clean, clear water. You will have the opportunity to swim, sunbathe, kayak, fish, and relax. Our lake house is stocked with almost everything you need to vacation with your family. Come vacation with your family and enjoy over 150’ of lake frontage. The space Upstairs bedroom-1 bunk ( twin over full) & 1 additional twin bed. Clothes storage available. Beautiful lake view. TV & Netflix available in room. Children’s toys, books, & art supplies available. Upstairs loft room- 1 queen bed with clothes storage area. No door on loft room. Room is separated by a partial wall. Upstairs living room-1 leather couch, 2 recliners, & TV with Netflix & DVD player (some dvds available) Downstairs Bedroom- 1 king bed. Clothes storage. TV with Netflix . Beautiful lake view Bathroom/ Laundry- Tub/Shower comb. Washer & Dryer ( detergent provided/iron available) ( blow dryer available) Fully Equipped Kitchen- pots, pans, dishes, utensils, crockpot, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, personal blender, air fryer, etc. ( oil & basic spices provided) ( some tea & kcups available)Kitchen island with 5 barstools. 2 tufted benches in kitchen to provide overflow seating Dishwasher available with detergent Desk/work station- desk with 2 chairs adjacent to kitchen island and bar stools. Bring your laptop or tablet and work from home. High speed cable internet available. Porch/Patio area- outdoor dining area with propane grill and traeger smoker grill. Large patio table with chairs and umbrella. Propane fire pit available for evening fires. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine on the patio with gorgeous lake views. Enjoy 150’ of private lake frontage. Boat house and patio available near water. Additional table with umbrella and seating available on patio. Boat house has adult & youth life jackets, lake toys, and some fishing poles and tackle. Fishing dock available. 4 kayaks located on rack. 3 adult & 1 youth kayak. Outdoor storage bin located on patio with inflatables, noodles, sand toys, etc. Beach towels available for use as well. Guest access Parking is located directly under the front porch area. House is located in hillside with concrete steps & railing. Maximum of two cars in space. Sylvan and Emerald lake are connected. Sylvan is around 2.5 miles around or over 5 miles if you go around both lakes. This is a great opportunity to walk, run, or bike. If you enjoy these outdoor activities, the North Country Trail is located nearby as well as the Dragon’s trail around Hardy Pond. There are over 29 miles available to bike. Other things to note A guest binder will be available with additional rules and information on checking out. * I do not charge additional cleaning fees. I ask that guests tidy up prior to check out. Things to bring- * Toiletries ( body wash available) * Groceries- local grocery located nearby * Paper plates and towel if you don’t like washing dishes * additional fishing or sporting gear that you would like. ( a few bikes are available to use)
