Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The space This private home is perfect for large families or multiple couples. The master bedroom is on the second floor with a full on-suite bathroom. The main level has two guest suites, each with a private on-suite bathroom. The central living area has a 55" TV, comfortable leather sectional, large dining table for eight, plus a large island and an additional 1/2 bath. The kitchen has all amenities needed for cooking or to bring in a private chef. Enjoy the outdoor space which offers more than enough room for your group. There's a large heated pool, custom jacuzzi and outside shower, plus plenty of deck and patio space allow for the true indoor/outdoor experience. The outdoor space off the master bedroom has a firepit fit and additional balcony chairs. There are so many places to enjoy the outside, under the pergola, around the firepit or in the pool, wherever you enjoy being with your favorite beverage, all of them provide beautiful views to enjoy! Other things to note Other things to note **The magic of Baja California Sur is in the challenges. When you leave the conveniences of your home, entering this beautiful region of rural Mexico, you leave behind the expectations that everything is going to happen smoothly. While this sounds like an inconvenience, instead it is what makes this space magical. We get to slow down and remember what is truly necessary, appreciating what is important. We have this unique opportunity to take a step back and experience Baja as it is, not how we want it to be.** Setting Expectations: Driving at night is dangerous due to cows on the road or cars without headlights (not banditos!) Please go slow. Most roads off the main highway are dirt and all roads in the area have potholes with lots of bumps. Most roads do not have street names, and houses do not have addresses. You must rely on the maps provided and do a little research of your own. Baja midnight is considered 9:00pm, and expect many businesses to close at this time. Buildings typically leak during rains, and water can come under doors depending on the amount of rain. We are in the desert with many new human inhabitants, therefore, the natives do make appearances. We attempt to mitigate this as much as possible, but please do not be surprised if you see a mouse or two, flies and gnats (bobos), ants, scorpions, or a rare snake. There is always dust no matter how much we clean! The entire Cerritos area is quickly developing so plan to see and hear construction in the distance. This area is considered safe, but we do still have petty theft. Please lock electronics and valuables in safes or locked cabinets when you are not home. We recommend trip insurance as unfortunately we cannot refund for weather, nearby construction, or rural Mexico related incidents. Please note: The pool is services 2 times per week, Tuesday and Saturday mid-day afternoon. They will have a truck with signage and typically have shirts with their logo, Laguna Sur TS. You may also see the gardener, internet service provider, gas provider, water truck, or other service personal during your stay. These services need regular maintenance to operate well. If you have any concerns, please reach out to Mayra the property manager. We do our best to communicate when people are on site, but at times it is out of our control. If your hot water is not working, or water does not turn on, please contact Mayra our property manager immediately. We may need to fill the home.
