Other things to note It is a simple, clean and much cherished little flat that is only just over 1 mile from the City Centre which is easily walkable or accessed by the bus route which is just to the front of the property. Carlisle’s Train Station is on the way to the City Centre – so also about 1 mile away. The flat has convenience stores close by and a number of take aways food outlets should you need the option. Within 0.3 miles you also have a Hollywood Bowling Alley and Lifestyle Fitness Gym   Carlisle is a fantastic City, steeped in history and has many things to see – such as the Cathedral, the Castle, Tullie House Museum or some of its beautiful Gardens. It is often referred to as the gateway or capital of the Lake District as it is only 20 miles away. Newcastle is 60 miles away and the Scottish Border is under 10 miles from the City and the Train Station can get you to places like Edinburgh in under 90 minutes
