Nestled in a traditional H'mong wooden house, our home is designed to welcome gentle natural light. On the first floor, four rooms feature windows that open to views of the garden, fish pond, and majestic mountains. The five rooms on the second floor bask in sunlight and offer spaces for play, meditation, and balconies overlooking the pool and breathtaking mountain range. Each of our nine rooms offers a peaceful retreat with privacy and comfort. This space is yours to enjoy as if it were your own. Our spacious common area invites you to gather, share travel tales, and exchange experiences of exploring Vietnam and Asia. There’s a special joy in immersing oneself in the culture and nature of a place, leaving with a heart full of memories and stories to tell. Emma Thao and her family cherish this in their travels and strive to share it with every guest who stays with us. Every evening, we share a family dinner, featuring delicious dishes prepared by Emma’s family, with vegetarian options for those who prefer. It’s not just a meal; it’s a moment to connect, savor flavors, and feel at home. Take a leisurely walk through our small village or simply enjoy the peace from our balcony. We even have a small pool for moments of relaxation. - Venture into the village, where local restaurants, bars, and pubs offer live music and opportunities to join local festivals. For deeper relaxation, a nearby spa provides traditional herbal baths and gentle massages. - For the adventurous, we can arrange an exciting trip with a local guide who will lead you through bamboo forests, terraced fields, and neighboring villages—a journey to uncover the hidden gems of this beautiful region. Guest access Our guests are welcome to enjoy every corner of the house: all the indoor and outdoor tables, the cozy spaces on the second floor, the charming balcony, the front garden, the peaceful backyard with its relaxing lounge chairs, the refreshing pool, and the shared bathroom. We hope you feel at home and truly savor every moment here. Other things to note Some Notices: Moc Home Sapa is a traditional H'mong wooden house located in a small village, about 12 km from the center of Sa Pa. You can travel from central Sapa to Moc Home by motorbike, bicycle, or taxi. Some sections of the road from Sapa to us are difficult due to narrow and winding paths (the last 600 meters to the house are quite steep). If you have a lot of luggage, it is not advisable to use a motorbike or bicycle. Taxi fares are around 300,000 VND per trip, and many drivers may not take you the final 600 meters. I recommend booking a taxi through us, as our drivers are familiar with the route and will ensure you reach your destination. We have shared bathrooms and toilets, with 02 such rooms available. Our house is a traditional H'mong home, so the rooms are not soundproof. We limit noise after 9:00 PM and before 7:00 AM to provide a better sleeping environment for you and other guests. We have 2 dogs in our home. One of them is very energetic and loves playing with strangers all day long. Please note that we open at 6:30 AM and close at 10:00 PM for check-in. If you have a reservation but arrive in Sapa after 9:00 PM on the check-in day, we will arrange for you to stay in a hotel in central Sapa (free of charge). The following day, a driver will bring you to us. Welcome back home!
