Cottage in North Devon

Bluebell cottage forms part of a courtyard of 9 cottages, converted from original farm buildings. It is set in large grounds, with games room, tennis court and grassy areas to walk your dog on lead. At certain times of year there is an enclosed grass paddock to walk dogs off lead but this cannot be guaranteed, as it is occasionally used for grazing horses. The cottage is close to the beautiful Woolacombe Beach and the harbour town of Ilfracombe. The space Bluebell Cottage is ideal for a couple or a family with one child or alternatively 3 adults. The cottage offers all you need for a cosy relaxing stay. We offer short stays, either weekends or midweek, so you can enjoy a few days away at the coast to blow away the cobwebs. In the bedroom there is a comfortable double bed and a handy wardrobe. We do not provide cots or highchairs as we would not be able to ensure that they met all health and safety requirements, so you would need to bring your own. In the modern bathroom there is a bath with shower over. The lounge has a table and chairs for cosy mealtimes and a sofa bed and comfy chair for relaxing in front of the TV. The sofa bed dimensions are 180cm long and 93cm deep. This includes the ends that are not removable. The kitchen has a hob, combination microwave/oven and larder fridge (no freezer compartment). The cottage is situated approximately 1 mile from the beautiful village of West Down, which has a pub and convenience store. The South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail are within easy reach and the fabulous award winning, 3 mile long, dog friendly Woolacombe Beach is only 6 miles away. A 20 minute drive will take you to Exmoor. Guest access All grounds are communal. There are plenty of outside seating and eating areas in the gardens and paddocks surrounding the cottage.pcjj
