Mayapple Cabin is the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy nature. Located in the beautiful Endless Mountains of Sullivan County Pa. Our cabin shares a border with 3500 acres of Pa Fish & Boat Commission Property and is perfect for all types of hunting (deer, turkey, bear, coyotes etc) Cabin is 15 minutes from World's End State Park & 25 minutes to Ricketts Glen State Park. Both parks have miles of hiking trails & beautiful waterfalls. World's End also has 2 overlooks (Canyon Vista & Highknob). The space Mayapple cabin is minutes from Hunters Lake, Loyalsock Creek, & Muncy Creek for some of Sullivan County's best trout fishing. Kayaks/Paddle boards are also permitted on the lake Mayapple cabin is approx 15 minutes from World's End State Park which has amazing hiking trails, 2 beautiful overlooks (Highknob Overlook & Canyon Vista Overlook). Cabin is also located within 25 minutes of Ricketts Glen State Park which has 24 named waterfalls and miles of hiking trails & snowmobile trails. Ricketts Glen is also home to Lake Jean & Lake Rose. Mayapple Cabin is a secluded 2 acre property in the woods and has no close neighbors. We have a beautiful front porch to enjoy your morning coffee a back screened in porch with an additional table & chairs. Our outdoor space includes a hammock, charcoal grill, & fire pit. There is wood already cut up for our guests. *****Please note since Mayapple Cabin is located in the woods so we do share our space with the amazing animals who also live here including deer, turkeys, bears, bees, rabbits, squirrels. Please do not leave food or trash outside as we try not to attract our unwanted guests (mice or bears) and please don't leave food unattended inside the cabin so we can continue to control the mice from entering the cabin. We keep all coffee & tea supplies in the microwave before your arrival to not attract mice. Cabin has a full functioning kitchen with dishwasher where you can prepare meals. A Keurig is provided along with “k-cups” of coffee and assorted teas. Various creamers and sweeteners are also provided. There is a washer & dryer at the cabin, but its use isn’t encouraged for short term guests. All linens are provided with plenty of extra blankets. Living room is equipped with Amazon Fire stick with access to our guest Netflix account. The wood stove is NOT available for our guests to use. Cabin has WIFI. Cell phone reception is good with AT&T and Verizon works also but spotty at times. Board games and puzzles provided for your entertainment! Our horseshoe driveway makes it easy to enter & exit property. Host lives in close proximity and will be available for any and all questions you may have during your stay. Also available if something needs addressed immediately Guest access You will have access to our entire cabin & property. The cabin will be unlocked when you arrive and the key will be left on the kitchen table!
