Damson Tree Cottage-Dog Friendly

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful cozy cottage in Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is a quiet cottage near many places of historical interest, with great walks, and pubs within walking distance. The area is close to Matlock, Bakewell, and Chatsworth house. Check out our guidebook for a few places we have visited and places we would recommend although we are still exploring and adding to this list! Pets are very welcomed (up to 2 pets with fees) The space The cottage has three levels: Lower Level: . There is three steps down to the lounge and work area with electric fireplace and tv. There is a door exit on this level. Middle level: Upon entering the side door entance, the bathroom /shower room (no tub) is to the left and kitchen and dining area is straight ahead. Upper level: There are steps leading up to the bedroom with king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, fan, emergency torch light, and approved fire escape window with child safety lock. The garden area is not enclosed however it has great views above the cottage with a table and chairs for you to enjoy. There is also a table and chairs outside on the patio entrance. For your stay we provide a welcome pack with milk, coffee, tea, sugar, oatmeal, jam and biscuits. Guest access You have access to the upper garden area that includes table and chairs and a beautiful view. Other things to note You can park to the Right of Damson Tree cottage OR in front of the patio entrance as long as you don't block our exit out of the driveway. We are just across the driveway and here to help you if needed.
